As the year comes to an end, I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude and appreciation for your trust and support. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to work with you and your families, and we hope you have enjoyed the journey as much as we have.
We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year, filled with joy, peace and love. May the new year bring you more time with family, continued progress towards goals, and fun! I look forward to seeing you again in 2024 after a well deserved break! Thank you for a great year!
A couple of little updates below as we close out the year!
Service Agreements
We've sent out the new service agreements for next year. Please take a look and sign them before December 31st if you haven't done so already. You may need a new link so if it is not working, please email us! The main difference from the previous ones is that we now require 48 hours notice for any cancellations, instead of 24. This is to help us manage our schedules and resources better. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
School Visits for 2024
Most families are aware, but if your child is starting school next year, we are usually not able to see children until week 4-6, because each school has its own rules and we want to follow them. If your child is new to school, we'll have to chat with you and see if we can fit them in our schedule. If you'd like to have us come to your home in the first weeks of school, just give us a call or email and we'll try our best to make it happen.
Shut Down Period
Emma and Sarah will be switching off over Christmas to spend time with family and enjoy a wine or two.
We are taking a break from 22/12/23 to 5/1/24 to celebrate the holidays. We hope you have a wonderful time too. We won't be able to reply to any messages during this period, so please leave a message or send an email and we'll get back to you once we're back on deck. Emma will be working Mon-Wed, Sarah will be working Tues-Wed during this time. Sarah will then be off for the week from 19-01/24-26/01/24 for a procedure.
The week that school starts, Emma and Sarah will be contacting families to discuss goals for Term 1 and the year, and spend this week planning activities, therapy, and ensuring that we're ready for a wonderful start to the year. Families will receive a small bill for this planning day (15-30mins) to account for time spent getting ready for the year! Reach out if you have any questions.
Phone Numbers
I'm sure that most of you will be no stranger to the challenges we've had with our phones over this year, especially when we ring from a Sydney number all the time! This is what learning is all about! We will be transitioning our phone numbers (fingers crossed for the final time), in the new year. Emma and Sarah will have a mobile phone number to be contacted on by parents, and we will be phasing out the Sydney-based virtual phone number. We will contact everyone via text initially on these phones so that everyone has it and it will be at the bottom on our emails.
Reminder texts will continue to come via the same number they always have, operated through our online Practice Management software. You can of course, continue to contact us via this number for enquires and call the mobile if you need a voice chat. Let us know if there's any questions here.
